During the event held in Palanga, the project was presented in the form of an exhibition. Participants could ask questions, review information material and engage informally with project representatives.

An educational session was held at Palanga Sanatorium School for students from grades 5–8 about renewable energy and offshore wind. The students learned in practice about the importance of offshore wind energy and its impact on the environment in the future.

At the conference organised by Klaipėda University’s Marine Research Institute, the latest seabed research data were presented. The presentation was given to scientists, researchers and the community, encouraging discussion and sharing knowledge.

At the international MOEPL (Maritime, Offshore and Port Logistics conference) organised by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University’s Lithuanian Maritime Academy, the Curonian Nord project was once again presented to representatives of the maritime business and manufacturing industries, highlighting the project’s relevance and regional significance.

Introductory meetings were held with representatives of the Darbėnai and Laukžemė communities. The aim of the meetings was to present the essence of the project, introduce its objectives and hear the initial expectations and concerns of local residents.

At Klaipėda Tauralaukis Progymnasium, an educational session on offshore wind was given to senior students. The lesson was on the importance of renewable energy, its environmental impact and technological solutions.

The residents of Šventoji and Monciškės were introduced to the project activities. During the meeting the potential impact of the project on the local community and ways of encouraging constructive dialogue were discussed.

At the meeting with community members from Nida, Preila, Pervalka and Juodkrantė, the project was presented, its objectives discussed, questions raised and community positions heard.

At Klaipėda Tauralaukis Progymnasium, a lesson was given to primary school students about offshore wind. Students were introduced to the basics of renewable energy and its importance for the future society.

An information stand was set up at the Palanga Seniors’ Day Festival. Community members could obtain information about the project, ask questions and discuss with project representatives.

The project team took part in the student innovation challenge PORTATHON 2024. During the event, a task was presented on the application of battery-powered ships in offshore wind farms to encourage innovative solutions.

The meeting included discussions on requirements for vessels relevant to the implementation of the project and further opportunities for cooperation between the project team and the association members.

An educational activity was held on Palanga beach for small children in cooperation with the #OffshoreWindForKids initiative. The children built miniature models, took part in educational activities and learned about the principles of offshore wind energy in the form of play.

The project team helped clean the environment at the Seaside Regional Park. This nature conservation initiative demonstrated the team’s commitment to environmental protection.

The first presentation of the project to representatives of local commercial fishing. During the meeting, community needs were discussed, expectations expressed, and possible forms of cooperation during the course of the project were explored.

An educational session on renewable energy and offshore wind was held at Pamarys Progymnasium for 8th grade students. The students were introduced to clean energy sources, their benefits and significance for the future energy sector and discussed practical examples.
